Recordings

These five tracks are all taken from a CD recorded by the choir - which takes its title "LONG LIVE FAIR ORIANA" from the refrain of the madrigal "All Creatures Now"

The CD also has sacred works like Tallis "O Sacrum Convivium" and 4 exquisite motets by Maurice Duruflé

On the lighter side you can also listen to "My love is like a Red, Red Rose" to words by Burns and the Spiritual "All My Trials"

    • Red Red Robin (Harry Woods)

- a jazzy arrangement of the song, by David Moss

    • Full Fathom Five (Charles Wood)

- words from The Tempest by William Shakespeare

    • Marvel Not Joseph (David Moss)

- words from a medieval text and part of the choir's rich Christmas repertoire

    • Quam Gloriosum (Victoria)

- bringing back memories for the choir of singing on the steps of a very ornate Basilica de las Angustias in Granada

    • All Creatures Now (John Farmer)

- rousing madrigal from "The Triumphs of Oriana" which ends with the phrase Long Live Fair Oriana
